Who Is She Anyway?
I’m just navigating the roadmap to awesomeness, making friends along the way, and not afraid to ask for directions when I go astray.
In the process, I’ve picked up some nuggets of truth that have collected into a gorgeous collection of stones that sometimes rub in my shoe, and at other times glisten like the precious shiny bits of wisdom that they are. I love it best when they smack me in the side of the head because I didn’t see them coming (or because I was trying my hardest to pretend they weren’t there at all —I do not recommend this approach).
Although I do have a degree in English, I have been known to run loose and wild with the (more than) occasional run-on sentence, and even an incomplete sentence or three, just depends where my head is and if it feels right at the time. I rant parenthetically and the occasional expletive may fall out of my head and land on the screen too, usually with some fair warning, sometimes not — again, depends on the temp at the time (this blog is, after all, untamed).
While I certainly do not know everything, I know enough to question, to search, and to never give up in my quest for what makes my journey through the universe more meaningful (and hopefully enjoyable). If any of what comes out of my head can make a difference for others, well, wouldn’t that be something brilliant!
I’ll never know unless I try, and so I write.
Nicely said, and as a fellow English major … grammatical errors are a writers way of revolting against a system. Ain’t that so?
